We designed this luxurious property in Millbank, Pimlico, located on the River Thames. The apartment was bought as an investment property by the previous owner. It had also been tenanted for a number of years. Our client engaged our Interior Design and Pre-sale Property Makeover services to transform the property.
This prestigious development has the feel of a 5-star hotel, with 24hr concierge services and counts footballers and international pop stars as residents. There are a number of similar properties up for sale in the development, therefore we needed to make it stand out amongst the competition.
We aimed to create a very luxurious, yet calm and homely scheme so that a buyer could move straight in.
To deliver an impactful design in a small apartment like this, we added large panels of monochrome murals to the open plan living room. One is instantly drawn to the murals as they enter the apartment. We kept the furniture in the room simple and accessories to a minimum.
We used a premium Romo wallpaper in the bedroom and paired it with a Wedgewood blue velvet headboard. The rust coloured cushions added a pop of colour against the beautiful blue background.
The apartment was snapped up immediately at a significantly higher price than the other similar properties within the development. Our client is extremely pleased with the result.
